In the beginning of this term I was fairly new to the way we were taught to revise our work. I have only done basic revision on my papers before this class, so it was something I was new to. Earlier in the term when we had our first project my revision process was not fully mistake free and done the right way. I took it a little lightly, for example when it came to local revision I did not necessarily go back and read my entire essay top to bottom and pick out each little revision that should have been done and do them. Although I am the global revision part I have done from the start of this term. I used to just look at my work as a whole and make any big changes I saw whether it was removing a whole sentence or adding more sentences. Over the semester though I started to think more about the revision part and that showed up from the difference and what I felt when actually doing the revision from my first project to the last project. As an example on my final project which I used on my Chosen Work Sample page, throughout the drafts of that project I really took my time when it came to the revision. The first draft was far from perfect and each draft I went back to edit and revise both local edits and global. I adjusted and made myself a better writer because of the effort I made to actually put more time into the revision part of our project. It showed me how much I have developed in overall writing from earlier in the semester up to right now at the end.
